RIP Cosmo :(

Cosmo died today. My mom has been taking care of him for me because I am a camp counselor for the week so I dont know what happened. It kills me to think I could have prevented it if I had been there. She swears he was fine this morning but when she went in to feed him this evening he was gone. I had her do a water test and the only thing out of the ordinary was the water hardness, it was way on the hard side. Any thoughts as to what might have happened would be greatly appreciated. I know it sounds weird but I really loved the little guy, he was the only pet allowed in my college dorm so we spent alot of time together. I never thought I'd be so attached to a fish but I really miss him.

RIP Cosmo, you will be missed.

I'm so sorry about Cosmo. There might not have been anything you could have done even if you'd been home. I know he'll be missed. Its so easy to get attached to them. RIP Cosmo. :(
