Are my plants dying?

I plan on getting a betta, I'm just doing a fishless cycle..
All the conditions are as they would be with the fish, including daily feeds with fish food for the bateria. I added the plants a week back when I started and I've just noticed a fe brown patches on my anubias, it does not look happy :(
The rhizome is tied lightly to treated bogwood and I've added king britsh aquatic plant food, there's no improvement. I also have java ferns and I've noticed some brown streaks on them too..
Are they dying?
