Talking Hehe, another one....

I did it again!! I'm up to 5 now.

Well, I had to go to Walmart to get more water conditioner and there were the Bettas. Two were dead. One was so long gone that his water was yellow and cloudy and you couldn't even see him. So sad. There were 4 others, a red one, a blue one, a turquoise, and a little grey and blue one that looked very sick. I of course picked up the little sick one first. He has stuff growing on him. Soooo I went and got my water conditioner, I took the betta with me. My mom then saw me with another. Heheh she wasn't too pleased. She told me I had enough, (I'm sure you have all heard that) She said, "You can't save them all" And I said "But I can save one". So, I got him.

Here are pictures. He looked a lot better once he was out of his cup. He needs a name! Help me out! I think he will really brighten up soon.

Also, I finally got the divider in!! Here are Pax and Sammy!

Sorry, the pics aren't the best.

Yeah, I hear "you don't NEED another fish!" all the time. I'm glad you got him! I think he'll perk up with clean water and some tlc. Good luck with him. He's cute.I can't think of a good name right now.

Oh. Is it possible to use those words in a sentence together?

He looks like my black lace delta tail, who BTW started building a nest, A MONTH AFTER I TRIED TO SPAWN HIM!!!

Here's a few quotes from www.bettahaven.webs.com: "To the world you may be one person...but to one betta you may be the world" "Once upon a time, there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.

One day, as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself at the thought of someone who would dance to the day, and so, he walked faster to catch up.

As he got closer, he noticed that the figure was that of a young man, and that what he was doing was not dancing at all. The young man was reaching down to the shore, picking up small objects, and throwing them into the ocean.

He came closer still and called out "Good morning! May I ask what it is that you are doing?"

The young man paused, looked up, and replied "Throwing starfish into the ocean."

"I must ask, then, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?" asked the somewhat startled wise man.

To this, the young man replied, "The sun is up and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll die."

Upon hearing this, the wise man commented, "But, young man, do you not realize that there are miles and miles of beach and there are starfish all along every mile? You can't possibly make a difference!"

At this, the young man bent down, picked up yet another starfish, and threw it into the ocean. As it met the water, he said, "I made a difference to that one!" "

Hope this convinces our parents ;)
