First Tank ever.... 10g Planted Community

Here's a picture of Nick Saban and his home. 10g tank from Petsmart, moneywort, wisteria and mondo grass and some leafy thingy. 4 sunset platys, 4 ghost shrimp (about to add more I think) and Nick, gotta go and get some more corys and see if he'll leave them alone now. I'm looking for ideas for a background.. may just go with some cloth or bamboo screen unless y'all have a better suggestion.





I do need to replant and get some plant nourishment drops.

Any ideas, critiques or whatever you wish to say is welcome :)

Beautiful tank! If you want to stay low tech with the plants get some Flourish Tabs and a liquid fertilizer.

Thanks y'all! I just dosed the tank with some liquid plant feed, I'll check the lfs for some flourish tabs. I found that neat jade looking thing at a Ross discount store for $5 (everything is clearance there!) :) They have some neat Asian dragon dog on block statuary things for like $10 each. I'm thinking about getting them for my next tank project (already got another 10g tank and I'm thinking on how I want it laid out :)

The wisteria on the stump is his favorite place. He naps on it and generally hangs out there watching everyone in his kingdom scurry about.
