Wink Water changes

so i got my betta today yay! *pokes siggy* and he's in a 5 gal. how much/how often should i change the water. there is no filter till i get the money. if the changes aren't too inconvienent i may save my money for the next tank lol

I would change the water once or twice a week. Maybe a little at a time. It makes it easier for you and less stress ful for your fishy. Sorry, I'm not exactly sure because I only have 10 gallons and two gallons! Make sure you get the nasty stuff out of the gravel. Either get a large syringe or a turkey baster, or best, a siphon!

I have a 5 gallon tank with a filter. I do 30-40% once a week for my water change.
