IAL Question

I ordered some IALs online off of eBay, direct from Malaysia. I got them and they are MASSIVE! I overlooked the word 'giant' in the description lol totally my fault. I was just going for A+ quality. Anyway, I'm certain they are too big to put in any of my tanks as they're about 10 inches in length. Can I tear them into pieces and put them in the tanks? I have two 5 gallons, a 3 gallon, a 2.5 gallon, and a 2 gallon I'd like to put some in... if I can do pieces of a leaf instead of a whole leaf - how much of a leaf should I put in? Or should I sell the leaves on here and buy some much smaller ones? Thanks for your help!

You can cut them down to whatever size you see fit .

Okay - so there's no real size rule? Just kind of... whatever works? haha You can't 'over-tanninize' the water can you?

You can... Kinda. The tannic acids ( I think) could potentially drop the ph fairly quickly, but you would have to use a lot. I like to use just enough to tint the water brown.
