Sbd?

So I saw a fish at a local petshop and he was struggling to swim down, and was floating on his side. I guessed he had sbd so I convinced my boyfriend to buy him for me to try to save him. Well, since we've gotten him home he's swimming normally and seems pretty active. Is there still a chance he has sbd, or could it have been something else?

He might still have it but being put in clean water helped, I'm sure. Just keep an eye on him. What a lucky little fish to be rescued! Good luck with him.

I'm so happy you took him home with you and rescued him :) Like DQ said - he's a very luck fish!

I put him in clean 1gallon bowl, I kept it kind of shallow just in case he sinks down. If he continues to swim normally I'll fill his bowl up completely in a day or 2. I put him next to Noels 10gallon and they flared at each other for a few mins, it was really cute. I'll get pics and tell everyone his name later. (I'm letting my boyfriend name him since he saved him for me)

He is a crown tail, yellow body, little blue on his back fin, and red fins. He looks like a sunset.

He has been named Apollo for the greek god of sun and light. Also, cause I've had a habit of naming my pets after characters in a comic book.
