Is it Ick?

Hello, long time no see.

Well I have been noticing a single white spot on my Raphie that is beginning to worry me. He got it a little after I bougt him a little under a year ago and it was small, lately the spot has gotten larger which is strange because it's been there so long.

It's located on the base of the fin on his back.

I will try to provide a picture of him after I get back from work but he is very camera shy.

So what do you think? and what kind of remedy do you suggest for ick?

If you need the stats on my tank I will have to do that after work, I just wanted to get this posted now before I forgot. >.<

I do not think it is Ich. Ich starts as a few small spots, then falls of, reproduces in your gravel and attacks again as many more small spots. And would have killed him long before over a year you have had him.

The tetras I used to have had that. And it stayed on them forever. It wasn't a disease, and I'm pretty sure it didn't harm them.

Same here. My tetras died of a betta attack.
