And also the fin sections that is so low, looks too "clean" to be any sort of fin rot. However Ive never seen a CT with finrot...

From sitting here next to him for an hour, he seems to flare up ALOT. And I know when Neptune's tail is slowly re-growing, and he flares, it pretty much undoes all the new growth and its back to step 1 again.

Well I am hoping *crosses fingers* that when I get back home on Sunday there is some GOOD change with Flair's tail since he is in a smaller tank and alone.

Well I am going home tonight. I am going to do a partial water change in his normal tank and put him back in. Mom said she doesn't think he looks like he got any worse this week. She did make note he doesn't seem as happy in this 2.5 gallon - which I expected lol.

Yup yup! Now just the long process of regrowing the fin. I just changed his water, letting the water temp regulate and all the new plant stuff settle (bought a ton of plants today) and then he is going back home :)

Sure did. I actually have a hard time buying fake plants now...I'm addicted t real plants lol. Got Corkscrew valerisa, Ludwigia peruensis , pennywort, and rotola wallichii. I ended up putting some of the new ones in Flair's tank because I had ran out of room in the new tank. I really like the plants in the new tank :)
