Tian-Tian ate very well later today and seemed fairly energetic (he even flared and made about five bubbles! An upgrade from none!). I'll keep treating him, but it seems he'll be all right for now. He seems to be regaining strength to move about, but he's still very weak and resting for long periods of time. I'm keeping an eye on him.

Just when I thought he was making a speedy recovery!!!
I just checked on my boy and I finally figured out why he wasn't getting better faster.
THERE'S FLIPPIN' FUNGUS IN MY TANK. fjdkls;afjlffff!!!!

AUGH this makes me so mad.
Should I put Tian into a quarantine tank and let his current tank sit out in the sun for a few days? I'm so serious, this gunk is seriously not letting up on my poor boy, even WITH all of my frequent water changes!!

I've just put in some Jungle Fungus clear, so maybe that'll help?
Please help me, guys! I'm doing all that I can and nothing seems to be working! :(

Well you don't want to use more than one med with Tian in the tank. I would put him in a quarantine tank. When you use the ich meds, I wouldnt be changing water too often. Follow instructions and keep up the treatment.
So I would put Tian Tian in a different tank, bleach his old one and boil everything else. Then let the tank sit in the sun for a couple days.

Okay, he's in a quarantine tank (er, rather abnormally large bowl that's gonna double as a tank for now).
His actual tank is outside on the patio, soaking up some sun and bleach. Lots of bleach.
Later, I'm gonna RINSE THAT TANK OUT. Like crazy rinsing. Like take my garden hose, set it to turbo wash and BLAST IT. Several times. With chopsticks, too, for good measure.

And after that, let it dry in the blistering sun for a few days.

In the meantime, keep treating for Fungus.

Okay, the tank has been given the royal treatment of the bleaching and EPIC RINSING.

Now to let it sit in the sun for a few days.
Also, I've boiled everything else in Tian-Tian's tank. :)
