It sounds like you've done all you can to get the tank clean. Good luck.

Thanks everyone for your help, especially you, Vikki! :)

I'm still treating Tian-tian for fungus, so the Jungle Fungus Clear is gonna be my buddy for a few days or so... or weeks. Anyway, the tank is outside, dry and soaking up some sunlight. So all is well, I suppose.

Fact: In cleaning out Tian-Tian's tank I discovered a tiny piece of one of his fins in the bottom of the tank! Would this be finrot? :(

You're welcome.
Well if it is fin rot, I would start with salt baths. And when youre done treating him with the other meds, give him a few days with no meds to let him rest. After those few days if it still looks like fin rot, start him on some jungle fungus clear or eliminator.

Uhm, you can find Neenjars post somewhere on here.
But here's what ya do.
I went to walmart and bought a gallon of water, dumped the water up then filled it up with tap water. I squeeze a bit of conditioner in it, then you put 1 teaspoon of aquarium salt in as well. Let it sit so the salt dissolves. When the water is ready, I fill the cup I got my fish in 1/2 way and then put the fish in the cup. Let him sit there for about 5 minutes then fill the cup the rest of the way up with tank water. Let him sit for another 10-15 minutes. You could be acclimating him during that time. Once he get's used to salt baths, I would up his time in the salt water to 10 minutes.
Hope this helps. If not for some reason, find neejars post for salt baths.
