betta and guppies is that normal

Well I gave it a try I was looking to get cam cerberus my ct boy in the same thank with guppies well guess what ......

We did it since the first day I brought cancerberus to the house he was small so I thought it was a good time to let him get used to be with other fish so he used to be in a 55 gallon with some tetras and ghost shrimp everything went good I have try to make him flare with 3 different mirrors one bigger than the last one and nope he doesn't flare at his reflections he doesn't even do it to other bettas I sold my 55 looking for a 75 gallon he was in a small set up while everything was ready so this time since he doesn't flare at his reflection I decided to try with guppies well everything goes fine he's with 5 blue turquoise guppies and 6 rasboras I'm looking to add something later on

I don't know if I should be worried or happy abouth him not flaring but I guess is part of his personality

That's awesome that you have such a big tank for a Betta, he must be so happy. and I had a Betta that didn't flare much or at all. Everything was fine, he just happened to be much less aggressive.

I thought it was something bad I've never seen him flaring but he's happy and he's doing fine with the guppies so i guess I shouldn't worry about him flaring or not

Yeah, as long as he's eating and acting normal (other than flaring), you have nothing to worry about :)

Some fish are just really laid back since you did put him with guppies I would not even try getting him to flare at this point.
