Just wanted to let everyone know that I named him Phoenix and over the last few days he's gotten SO MUCH BETTER!

The black on his gills is totally gone, he's more colorful and less pale and he's even straitened out the odd shape in his spine for the most part.

He's a little low energy compared to my other two bettas who are constantly swimming and showing off, but that's to be expected. He hangs out on the top of the tank almost all the time now and gets wiggly and excited when I come over to feed him.

I think he's going to be fine.

Thank you guys for your help and for rooting for my new little guy!
