Question Will he be depressed?

I have a 30 gallon tank, which used to be a community tank but over time all the fish died, so I decided to get a betta. I wanted a 5 gallon for him but my dad said no, not until your birthday or christmas, so for like, the past three weeks I had a betta living in the tank. Well I can finally get a 5 gallon, but will he be depressed moving from 30 g to 5?

I don't think so. He should be fine. 5 gallons is perfect for a betta.
