Salt baths

Okay so I did my first salt bath today but I have a few questions. I treated a gallon of water with the salt, because I will be doing treatments throughout the day. This water is okay to use for multiple treatments right?

Also some of you know that my betta Sinbad got kind of beat up by my other male, Merlin when he got over the divider. So I did a salt treatment on both today and will do 2+ more today. I also got a new 5 gallon tank for Sinbad, that is up and running but not ready for him yet. So I was wondering how long I should continue salt baths with Sinbad. They both had a small case of fin rot, which is why I am treating both. So how many per day, for how many days?

Then I would like to add some of the aquarium salt to their regular tanks. The back of the box says 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons. Is this the same recommendation you have?

Yes, it's okay for multiple treatments. That is also how i set my salt bath water up.
I would do about 5 a day for a week or two.
