RIP Storm

So this morning I went to go get Storm to put him in his new 5 gallon home and found him dead. I don't know what happened. We did change his water last night, he had full color, was acting like he normally does. He was swimming around this morning - Synthisis was here and saw him. But at 12:30 or so when I went to move him to his new home he was dead. He never really ate for me - which didn't overly concern me because he had just got put in his new home Friday night. At least he had a good end of life. He had his bridge which he loved, and clean water. I did test his water, everything tested perfect. pH was 7.4-7.6, Ammonia, Nitrates, and Nitrites were all at 0. I would feel a little better if I knew why he had died. It was just so random.

RIP Storm!

Well he could have had a problem internally too. I am going to plant the 5 gallon when I get back from my trip and after the plants settle in get a new betta. I just feel like a bad fish mommy with Flair's tail and now Storm. Thanks for your kind words. I am happy he passed in a good home and not the cup at the store.

I'm so so sorry. RIP Storm.
Don't worry, it's not your fault. Maybe just a bad shipment?
