I would remove her from the tank and treat her for ich. No need in treating the cory if you don't have too. Also, cories NEED to be in groups of at LEAST 3. One cory will not do well by him self. I suggest you get at least 2 more. *If you have a big enough tank*

If you put the cory in a 1 gallon with the female, that was a terrible idea in the first place.
doggyhog is right, they should be grouped together and they need at least 10 gallons.
Plus, you should have quarantined the cory for at least a week to see any problems emerge before putting it with any other fish.
I would suggest treating the female immediately for ich. Salt baths won't help. If you have the receipt, you can return the cory cat to the store if you are not satisfied.

Oh good, I'm glad you have a 10 gallon now. :)

I hope she gets better soon. Also, I think ich can live on things in the tank, so you should probably do a full cleaning of the tank and boil the decor.

Yep, gravel too. I've done it, and I must say boiling the gravel was the easiest to do.

Especially the gravel. Boil it. I would boil everything that can be boiled in the tank. Then use the hottest water you can handle to clean the tank.
