The only JFE I could find at walmart was tablets and it says 1 for every 10 gal would it be ok if i put 1/4 of a tablet in my bettas tank? and also give him salt baths??

Dissolve 1 tablet in 10 teaspoons of water. Then use one teaspoon of the concentrate. I think with JFE you are supposed to wait 4 days before repeating the dosage.

Thank you. He has a 2.5 gal but I dont want to put him in there while he's sick. But maybe I'll find something a little bigger to put him in to make him happy.

It's actually 10 tablespoons I think...That's what I do with my JFC.

you put him in with JFE and Bettafix at the sametime or is it just one at a time? If not which one is more effective?

Rusty is recovering now from his own bout with fin rot. I used Bettarevive from Petco.com for 5 days as well as salt baths and water 20% water changes and then moved to just Melafix once the fins began to show signs of regrowth. He's doing well and his fins are almost half regrown already.
