Divided Eclipse 6?

I was looking at the Eclipse 6 for my two boys at home. I know it's a bit small for two betta boys and wanted to get people's opinions and experiences with a space this size. I know I could get a 10 for the money but I am struggling with flat surfaces at the moment and need something that would fit on my daughter's desk.

It's 6 gallons right? It would be okay because they would both get 3 gallons. In my 10 gallon that's split in 3, each boy get's 3.3 gallons.

Thanks Vikki. How did you divide yours? I know that the Eclipse series are bowfront- don't know if that would be a problem?

I used the DIY divider thing. I made my own. Here's the site.

It may be a problem. I dunno.

Thank you, this diy post is great! I will probably try to measure the tank before I get it just to make sure. I am not planning to do this until October so there is time for research...

Ooh i checked that out too! I actually have canvas pieces I bought for...I dont remember what now lol...I put it up against Pez's tank, and it would fit perfectly. Maybe when I get paid again (friday!) I will order another jumbo tank like his, then I can split it for one of my girls and him!

Yep that's how all of my dividers except for the one I got from petsmart is. I made 2 total right now. I'll probably be making some more soon.

Oh cool. Now question, can you use aquarium sealant in acrylic tanks? Hmmm...so i read that wont work lol. Maybe if its wide enough(which it appears to be) it can stand on its own. I guess Ill have to test it out!
