Question Is 10 gallons enough for multiple female bettas?

I am currently treating fin rot for my two male bettas in a divided 5 gallon tank, so my lone female has the 10 gallon all to herself. I was just curious if 10 gallons would be enough for 4-5 female bettas, and would they all get along? She is so small the tank just looks HUGE. So I was just wondering. Thanks

!0 gallons will be enough to house 4-5 females. You need to have lots of hiding places, like plants and caves. There will be fighting as they try to establish a pecking order. There are several members here who have or have tried to start a sorority. They can advise you more about how to go about it.

A agree with drama. I also want to add that it all depends on their personality. I tried it and it didn't work for me. It's actually tough to start a Sorority, I wouldn't advise it.
Make sure you have a back-up plan if it doesn't work out.
Good luck!

There are several links I have found for sororitys. I found them very helpful and will definetly go back when I need it. Search on google for sorority betta tank. They are very difficult, and you may loose one or more. drama covered it, but there could always be accidents. Choose dull colored females, such as blues, greens, browns, blacks, purples, etc. dark colors are less aggressive.

Thanks guys, I think I'll hold off for now, I don't have room for any extra tanks at the moment if it doesn't turn out well.

In my 10g I have 2 girls, and 4 guppies with a frog. They all get along just fine.
The male guppies are little horndogs though. Poor female guppies
