So after two and a half weeks of treatment (with medication breaks in between), Shota's fin rot look to have been gone and I happily set up his 3 gallon for the third time, again sterilizing everything in boiling water.
But not even an hour after putting him back in his home, I noticed a tiny hole developing in his dorsal fin.
I wanting to cry ): I don't want to put poor Shota through these continuous treatments, and most of all, I don't want him to suffer from having his fins slowly being eaten away.
I'd try ampicillin but my local aquarium store is having trouble ordering it, their supplier is out so I'll probably have to wait a lot longer to actually get it...
