Is that a plastic plant in there? It looks kinda pokey- sometimes they can hurt their fins on pokey plastic plants.

With bettas it's usually better to have a real or silk plant rather than a plastic one- especially if it's very pokey. If the fins get torn it hurts the fish, looks bad, and can cause infections. Aquarium decorations can cause tearing too if they have rough edges or pointy corners.
