PETCO 1 Gallon Corner Aquarium Kit at PETCO

My walmart has a tank just like this for about $10. I'm not really looking to buy it since I already have 6 bettas, but I was just curious if this tank would be okay for a "rescued" betta. Like if (this may sound kind of corny) you go into petsmart or walmart and just feel really bad and just have to save one of their bettas, would this tank be okay for that? I know it's only one gallon with an underground filter, but isn't it better than a little cup, or just a one gallon fish bowl? What do you guys think? Would this is be a better place for an "impulse" betta?

I think it is a great idea...as I do the same thing myself....haha! I feel so bad for those poor fish...I just have to rescue them!

Anything is better than the death cups. For about $30 they have 2.5 gal. tanks at Petco in my area. Comes w/small heater too. That's my next purchase for my next rescue betta.

I just have to decide when I get there. I'll pick the one that looks like it needs to come home with me :)

I have laying around here at home this tank Marina Betta Kits at PETCO (but it is a gallon) and this tank Tetra Water Wonders 1.5 Gallon Aquarium Kit at PETCO. Of the three which do you think is best? Probably the last since it is 1.5 gallons? I just think it's a pain to clean...

actually i had this tank for many years back in high school and it served me well. It would be good to have around for many reasons

I have that tank. Ember is in it right now. I use it for sick fish.

i used to have one of those but when lavender died in it i just brought back bad memories
