SIP Tiny Tina :(

Sadly, my girl came down with dropsy just as my boy, Patriot had... I've now lost them both. I don't think I'll be getting another betta just yet. I'm going to wait it out and see if I find one that I fall in love with like I fell in love with them.

SIP, Tiny Tina. :( I love you.

I'm sorry to hear. Don't let it discourage you too much, just make some visits to the pet store and keep checking out the betta's. Or look on aquabid or ebay. Some beautiful ones on there. ebay tends to be cheaper it appears.

I might wait a bit longer until I can get all new supplies... New heater, new thermometer, new tank (or I can just use the new Evolve that I haven't put a betta in), new gravel, new decorations... That way there's less of a chance for the new betta to get sick.

No need to buy all new stuff. Use a 1/10 Bleach solution to wash your tanks. Rinse, dry in the sun. Rinse again and you should be good. Though there is no such thing as too much rinsing. =D
