Help me?

I just got my new betta fish 3 days ago, and he was acting fine until today. Im thinking its SBD? He just floats at the top in a corner and doesn't swim much. I did see earlier he kept bumping himself into the wall and having a spaz attack in the back? Im not sure what was going on, I am totally new to Betta. Should I just lower the amount of food Im giving him and see what happens? Im just worried, because already he is like my baby ;P

ah- unfortunately he might have already been sick with something when you purchased him. It's very common.

Do you have any idea what it could be? Im going to check him for any bacteria.
I forgot to mention he is missing a few scales, if that helps at all.

How big is the tank and is it warm enough? Have you tried the salt bath?

He's not blotted, I don't think

He has a 2.5 gallon bowl, and I'd say his water is pretty warm.
I have thought about giving him a salt bath and I will look into doing that. Thank you
