if your betta is a crown tail betta when their fins are growing back?

my betta fins arent growing together like a veil..they are kind of growing stringy like like a crown tail looks like and the lady charged me for a crown but i jus thought she did dat on purpose but now im wondering...or is that just how they start growing back?

i rescued him and he had bad fin rot but now its growing back..im guessing he got like that from really bad water conditions

Depends on how much of the fins are gone. If it's a lot, then they will usually get a little longer, then develop the rays. If just the rays were missing then they will grow back the same way for the most part. Great job rescuing him!
