I need to get some decent pictures of the bettas :) Theres a fourth large bin with Water Hyacinth and water lettuce and this is my main sorority bin. One thing Ive found is the bettas take very well to these planted bins.

The root systems provide shelter and refuge from each other while also harboring snacks between meals :P

For those that have PM me regarding the tubing/valve system -

The tanks all have a pvc tube that connects to the silicone tubing and each tank has a ball valve. When Im ready to do a water change, I open the valve of desired tank and it siphons out to my herb garden.

Each pvc intake in the tank is 2" or so from the bottom, so if there were any mishap the fish would not be left without water.

I have two 55g drums where I age water. They have a pump, and as soon as a tank has been siphoned, I use the same tubing to pump new water back in.

To do a 50% waterchange and thorough siphoning on all tanks takes me just about 1 hour.

I love angelfish! I had a pair of them for years and was so sad when they passed. Great set up!
