Am I underfeeding?

Hello. I have had betta fish for years. I just got a small tiny female. (You can view my previous posts for pictures). I have been feeding her Betta Min Tropical Medley red flakes with some tiny shrimp looking things mixed in. These are small flakes and I feed her about 10-17 each night. When she goes for the food, she eats like she hasn't ate in days! She like jumps at the food and attacks it. Is this normal?

That is perfectly normal. Mine are always "starving" lol even though I feed them twice a day. I like feeding twice a day because they don't gorge themselves all at once and I think it helps them not feel so hungry...maybe try that.

Yeah it's normal, betta's always look like they're hungry because they want more food from you, and they're just little pigs :)
