Tank upgrade & photoshoot

So I did it... I put my boys in a divided 10 gal...I was going to buy the Eclipse 6 but going to Petco they had the 10 gal starter kits and it just didn't make sense not to get one. Issy (pic # 3 on the firts row) had fun posing for me. Sparkles (pic 2 on first row) not so much...

"Star" (named by my daughter - his full name is Butterfly Star) is in the last three pics... we had to have him, of course. He is a double tail. I am never going back to Petco, LOL! Funny part is that I think I gave my husband the betta bug... he was talking to him all the way home and insisted on a 5 gal tank. He was also the one to say we should not wait until October as we had planned for the tank upgrade for Issy and Sparkles.

I guess there will be no more eating out for us for a month at least. And somehow everybody seems OK with that... LOL!

Yes he is. I wish I had a better picture but will keep trying. Somehow his colors did not turn out exactly right. He has more blue in him than you can see here.

Thank you all :) The aquascaping has been done per my daughter's instructions (4 years old), hence the abundance of purple and pink. They are her fish really -yeah right :)
