So 2 months ago my friends got me this cutie from Walmart for my 18th birthday. I've never owned a fish before, or really any pet. When I first got him he was in a sad little .5 gallon, and while my friends said that it was big enough for him I just knew it wasn't. So, I got him a 2.5 gallon but he still seemed unhappy. Now he is nice and cozy in a 5 gallon :) I am so glad that he came into my life, I never knew a fish could be such a nice companion to have. And it seems betta fish have so much personality! It breaks my heart to know how betta fish are treated, advertised to live in small bowls and worse of all how they are treated by WALMART. It sickens me, but I am so glad he was able to escape. I hope to adopt another one some day when I have more money. Tell me what you think!
