Shawtee i wouldn't go put my betta in a vase because betta need to surface a lot and i put 1 of my betta in 1before i came back a few hours l8ter it changed its colour completely and it only had 1 fin flapping so i put it into back into its tank and it was fine

lol sorry i'm really crap with my sentence structure espeically online, let me have another go:
Whilst my Betta has been in the 30L i have not seen him make any bubble nests ACutally i jus cracked why, my air pup sends out bubbles which would corrupt all of them anyway!
i saw him trying a minute ago x

yo shawtee betta don't need an air pump they have a special lung called a labrynth and they dunt need an air pump. Y do u think the people dunt even give them 1 in the store. Well most of them dunt. Mine i got in a cup. it can stay in there for a week
so just change the tank water every week that s all

I'm so glad to see here that it's a sign that he's happy and healthy because my betta started doing that, too. I just put him in a new 3 gallon tank today thanks to the help from this forum and I can tell he is enjoying it very much. Thanks again!

Most stores don't do anything correct or healthy for bettas, they all come in cups :)
