Yeah that might be it, I would leave them for now just so it doesn't freak him out more, you know? He can get up to 10 pellets in a day of NLS since they are so small and don't expand much at all I generally feed 6-8 for my younger boy's that are under 2 years old, sometimes they can get up to 10-12 though if it's been after a fasting day it's hard to overfeed them so I generally go by how big their stomachs get. Once they start getting a nice rounded tummy after eating, that's when I stop. The picture of him before looks like he had a good meal before hand, so aim for something like that would be good
