so he made it threw the night and seems in much better condition. he can keep himself upright now, and cn control which way he floats, although only moves to get air.... he appears to be purple with red fins.....from the little left i can see... oh yea and closer look says he DOES have very very very tiny pectoral fins.

I would keep him in clean water with a bit of aquarium salt. then in a day or so, I would permanently keep him in a salt bath. So if he has a one gallon tank, add one teaspoon of aquarium salt to it and just clean his water every day. I keep my bettas in water like that when healing them from fin rot. Then in about a week or so I would get some JFE and continue with salt baths.

Oh I just wanted to share that when I went to Walmart today, I rearranged their betta section. lol. And no one said anything to me. I put all the bettas where they would be seen, like they did have them up on the to shelf where no one could see them. So I rearranged the shelves, put decorations up top and put the bettas all neatly where they could be seen. I feel better now. lol
