How long does it take for betta fins to heal usually?

Its been a little less then a week since William tore up his caudal and dorsal fin. I havent seen any improvements yet, I've been changing his water every day and giving him 2 salt baths every day. When should he start getting better?

The reason I ask is because I finally have enough money to put my two in a divided 10 gallon tank, I am really excited to put them in but I have to wait until William starts to get better.

Umm, when Flair tore his Caudal and Anal fin, they actually got worse before they got better. He has finally began getting better (he has about a half inch or so of his tail left to grow back). It has been 3 weeks tomorrow. Give it time :) Good luck.

Yep Embers healing has been taking it's sweet time. It's like telling your hair to hurry and grow, takes time.
