new betta

hi i bought again a new bettas today that makes my betta 4 i bought 1 male and 1 female my question is that im sure that my female is a crowntail but my male im confuse because he looks a crowntail but he has a smaler fin like a plakat could this male is a cross breed crowntail and plakat? i can say it has a blood of a plakat because his head is big and he has a bigger body than my other males
