PetCo adventure!

So today I took an adventure to the petco close by, and boy was I impressed!

Although I was quite upset that they had a VERY lacking medicine section, as that is what I went for, a couple of things impressed me.

1) On the Betta section, although they were still in cups..
a) Their water actually looked super clean!
b) Although only got a glimpse, all appeared healthy & no dead bettas.
c) There were walls I between the bettas every way so they weren't stacked and all that, so no stressed buddies!
2) All the animals were active, which I didn't see at the last one!
3) VERY well organized, again, not seen at the last one I went to(and the only other one..)
4) The employees were SUPER nice, the lady who checked us out was even socializing one of the snakes and apologized if it bothered us, but she wanted them to be ready for homes and not cramped up all day!

So I just thought I'd share a good petco experience, and I WILL be going back there for sure! I'm pretty sure it's even within walking distance, SO YAY!!!! Andddd I don't have to cross the street much so I can ask to walk by myself if its walkable!

One last thing...

I saw this BEAUTIFUL yellow veiltail... I wanted it SOOO bad, but wasn't able to get it. :'( not even a picture.

Wow I'm impressed! ^.^ The lps I'm trying to get a job at sounds a lot like that. Bettas are healthy, they handle and socialize the birds (yay for tamer birds!), and some really neat tanks.

I can't find any close LPSes.(how in the world do you make that plural XD) So I'm gonna stick with the petco nearby that is actually quite good! And it's a 25 minute walk each way! It'll be good excersise. ^-^

Now I just need to unleash my excitement..

I'm getting a master freshwater test kit! Although using my own money, it's worth it! ^-^ Oh the things I get excited about..
