Is This Normal????

I've recently seen my betta blowing bubbles around the tank. The sides of the tank are all bubbles. IS this a really bad thing?

not a bad thing, it is your betta attempting to breed.

Males still make bubble nests... they do it when they are happy or ready to breed.

That's a bubblenest. They only build it when they're happy and healthy, and they can breed (But you don't have too). It's a really good sign your taking care of him well if he makes those.

Yea, everyone already covered it. It means that he is healthy and happy. It is their way of letting a female know that he is good enough for her and what they store the eggs in. There doesn't have to be a female around for them to do it though.
