I am curious about this topic in general. I once got a rainbow and the thing start to develop bubbles on it. I was worried thus took it out but it says aquriam safe on it, so whats with stuff like that?

Side note, wouldn't bright color decor anger a betta?

Ok, ok I give in - that's kinda cute.

Mom has had hers more than two weeks, maybe a month and no problems

So far I haven't seen or had any problems. As long as you keep an eye on it, it shouldn't be a problem. Make sure you hold on to the receipts as well, as the return policy is 60 days. So if something happens to yours you can return it no problem.

Haha. The candy corn was the only one I liked as the opening was big. I did get the pumpkin, but I want to block the opening of the mouth somehow..I'm afraid he'll try and get in it and won't be able to get out. The candy corn one has a huge opening, as you can see, so I didn't have to worry about him getting stuck. Again, just check the one they have to make sure they aren't too sharp around the edges, or just sand it a bit.

I wanted to get the pumpkin, but the edges were all way too jagged and I was worried about my guy getting himself hurt. I was wondering if it was okay to sand down the jagged parts, thanks for letting me know! I got him the little scarecrow with scuba gear instead.

That little grumpy face peeking out of the candy corn is probably one of the cutest things I've seen in ages.

I had no idea they made holiday decorations for fish tanks, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised by that. If I had a Petsmart near me I would think about getting one.
