RIP, Mr. Big :[

Yesterday, I found my first betta Mr Big dead in his tank. Somehow, he had gotten himself stuck in a hole in a house I bought for him at pet supply plus. I had seen the little cave houses in other bettas tanks so I assumed it was okay.

Although I only had him about a month, he will be dearly and sincerely missed.

It really sucks and I miss him. Poor Osiris is all alone now in the split 10 G. I'm thinking I'll slide the divider out and give him the whole 10 G.

RIP my little feisty boy. I'm sorry I didn't know the cave was unsafe. I feel like I should have known because then you'd still be here. I love you!

Oh no!! So sorry to hear that. It's been a really bad week for Bettas......

Why not just get Osiris a new friend? That might be good for both of you.

I'm so sorry about Mr Big! It wasn't your fault! Sometimes we just can't tell if a decoration is safe or not. I worry that my Rusty will get caught under his bridge. He's been ok so far but that doesn't mean that something won't happen in the future.

I'm sorry about your betta. What kind of house was it? It might be good to post a picture of it for other betta owners.

sorry to hear that, but freak things happen, my cousin had glass beads in her fish tank and some how her betas tail got trapped under the rocks. things just happen and its nobodies fault, but getting another beta does kinda help mask the pain.

I might get another Betta, but I can't get another until I go home for a vacation because they only allow 1 tank up to 10 G in my dorm. (I wouldn't be able to quarantine at all) I was thinking a female possibly, because they're so darn cute :] or order one off of Aquabid, I saw a gorgeous green dragon CT there a few days ago.

I can't find a picture of the cave I put in his cave. It was a kind of colorful one w/ fake coral and stuff on the side. I would take a picture of it but I threw it out already.
