Slime

So in my girls' divided tank I have this issue every time I do a water change to it.

I get these weird opaque white slime on things and when I change the water, the water suddenly goes from clear to murky.

It goes away if I do a 100% water change and scrub everything but then the next time I want to do a water change, it's back.

I don't think it's fungus cause I've seen fungus, and this is not really fuzzy but really slimy. I'd like to think it's the condition, since I'm using stress coat and there's something in it that's supposed to "replace the fish's slime coat".

I haven't really seen it happen in my other tank though...

Has anyone had the same issue? :S Just wondering... Cause if that's the case I might switch to something like Prime and save stress coat for when they get booboos...

I had that problem when I used Stresscoat. The water had white, swirly stuff in it and stuff hung off of my betta. Try another conditioner for awhile and see if the problem goes away.

I've been using Stress Coat the whole time I've kept fish and I've never had that problem. Maybe it's the water?
