Betta not eating

I give my betta 3 pellets a day, of Hikari Betta Bio-Gold. When I first got him he seemed very interested in eating, but sometimes he'd spit them out.
Kiro is very shy, and freaks when other people are in the room and hids in the plants. I always feed him and leave the room, and come back later to see if he's eaten. Lately the pellets have still been floating at the top of the water, untouched.
I've also given him Wardley Betta Pellets, and so far he's ignored them too.
He swims normally and doesnt look pale or anything. :(
what could possibly be going on?

Just being stubborn. Fast for a few days. Then try again. If he still refuses, keep feeding them and eventually he'll get that it's all he's gonna get fed.
