Exclamation Pop eye?

I just finished treating the bettas in my divided 10 gallon for velvet about a week ago and now one of them has clearly got a pop eye. I have no idea why or what to do. I am so frustrated and upset right now.
How do I treat this and why did it happen?

I would try using Epsom salt to reduce the swelling. You may want to put her into a smaller tank for a few days. Then, use Epsom salt at a dosage of 1 teaspoon per gallon. (Acclimate her over the course of at least 1 hour. Feel free to ask for information on how to do this.)

If the Epsom salt isn't effective within 1-2 days or if the eye continues to swell while she's in it, you may need to treat it as an infection. Give us an update if that happens, and we can try to help based on whatever changes have occurred.
