I haven't been around the forums as much as I used to be.
I figured I would update you guys as to where I'm at right now.

I still have Ares
(who looked like this when I got him, and seemed to have some crazy swim bladder issues)
and now looks like this
I lost Lucian a few days ago.
No idea what the issue was. Bubble Nesting one day, gone the next.
He was a good fish. I'll miss him.

No, you aren't imagining things. He has no tail. I saw him at petsmart and his color was just amazing (for such a sick fish) and he swam around like he had the biggest and best tail out of every betta there. I couldn't leave him knowing that he was pretty close to losing what he had left of his fins/life. I can't say that I've seen any worse fin rot than this (in real life).
The cashier asked if I was sure if I wanted that one and then asked me what was wrong with him. Sad. I still think the half of a fish should have been half price
Anyway, any help with names would be awesome. I tend to lean to names that end up sounding kind of masculine/powerful if you can't tell, but I'm running out!!!
