Unhappy My females stressed?

someone, yesterday, posted that the horizontal stripes on Meadow could be stress related. She was like that when I got her, so I figured "yeah, she could be stressed". Carmella didn't have any stripes, whatsoever, when I brought her home. But now she has the same stripes and she seems to be darting all around her tank rapidly. While Meadow has calmed down and seems really happy in her new home. Should I be doing something to help? Could this be stress-related?

Carmella is in a 1 gallon bowl. Could this be too big/small?

You could get a stress zyme or stress coat conditioner. It should help. Do you have any decorations? Anything like plants or caves to hide in? She may still be stressed. Skai gets stressed easily.

I think aquarium salt helps reduce stress too.

Yeah, horizontal stripes are a sign of stress. Just make sure that the water is clean and warm and they have a place to hide and sleep and keep it quiet around them for a while. I find the females get stressed out easier than the males. My girl Diva too a while for her stress stripes to go away but they did eventually...although she would still look like a zebra danio in a minute if I so much as showed her a camera lol!

My Nina came home with stress stripes. I walked home with her and no wonder she was stressed! Everyone I saw on the way home said something about taking my fish for a walk! I got her home, put her in clean water and kept her in a quiet place and she's been fine.
