When I had to do a cleaning on my tank a week ago my bio-wheel was dry for a good 4 hours or so. And like I said, it mini-cycled.

Thanks for the info on the Bio wheel RoseyD, I didn't realize this was going to be so difficult lol. What if I wrap it in a thin moist paper towl and put it in a bag with alot oF air? would that work?
