Safest way to clean fry tank?

i need to clean my fry tank, its getting algae from the heat and i know fry like it really clean, they are large enough now not i could use a siphon for partial water change, and the decorations... should i wash all those and put them back? any advice would help?

i myself got and oto and about 10 pond snails, that seems to keep my tank very clean. gives a little snack with the snail eggs on the side of the tank too.
