Question Aquarium Salt?

Ho often can this safely be added to my 10 gallon filtered tank?

I'd do it with every water change, with the correct amount stated on the box.
Unless you are treating an injured fish?

To be honest I don't know if I'm treated injured fish or not. I thought both my veil tails were beautiful but the more I read and the more pics I see I think maybe my guys do have torn fins. I don't know... I know that sounds stupid.

They're both so happy and they look healthy but I'm overwhelmed with all this info and I want to do the best I can for both of them. When they flare thier fins don't look torn but when they just swim around the fins look like maybe they are torn from the other pics I'm seeing on the site. This is also new to me - I've only been at this a few months. I'm worried that I'm not caring for my guys properly. They both have big beautiful clean tanks but if the have torn fins - I'm doing something wrong. It's all so complicated. I thought I knew what I was doing.

Dont worry about you not taking care of them well enough, I'm sure you do great! :)
My betta William got torn fins, I'm pretty sure I did everything good with him, he just got his fins torn on the plant.

Sometimes betta's fins arent as full when they swim so they look torn.
if they dont look torn when they are flaring, they are probably ok. :)

Thanks you! I'll just keep doing what I'm doing, try to learn more from this site... and hope I'm doing it right. So darn attached to these little buggers!!

haha, same.
My poor little Kiro had some type of a stroke earlier and he's in awful condition, I'm so sad. D:
I'm not sure if he's going to make it.

He has gotten better, but he's still pretty bad.
before he was twitching, he was really pale and i would touch him and he'd stay completely still.
right now he's kind of laying on his side, he's shaking a lot..:/
He has a hard time swimming too. Hopefully he'll be ok, I'm gonna be really upset if he does pass away.

I'm sure you're doing a great job with them! Being concerned like you are shows that you really care about your fish.
