Ammonia Burn???

I went out of town for a few day and came back to Chloe's gills red and inflammed. It doesnt really seem to bother her though. I changed her water, and she is swimming and being her crazy self. Is there anyway to get her poor gills back to normal? What should I do?

I think the best thing you can do is keep the water clean.
