I might be interested, but how many gallons of water do you need per snail? And do you have an estimate on shipping cost?

$1 for five?
Shipping shouldn't be more than $5(small flat rate box) but a padded envolope would probably be ok while they're tiny, no?
Anyway, I'd be interested in 5-10 babies. if you have any blues show up I want to call dibs on those.
Otherwise purples and ivorys would be nice. Just no yellows/golds. ><

Ideally, it is about 2.5 gallons. Mystery snails do get to a good size.

As for shipping, I don't know your exact zip code, but since you're from Minnesota, I plugged in a Saint Paul zip code and got $5.60 for a small flat rate box.

I don't know about a padded envelope, but I'll look into it. I'll let you know what colours we get as soon as they start showing.

Here are some of the babies:

Too bad you aren't in Canada. They look great, and I thing mysteries are pretty cool.

Those darn borders!

Some more pictures. I'll have my good camera down in a few days and take some clearer pictures.

lol love the picks, the babies are so tiny. <3

Does your betta try to eat them or just ignore them for the most part?
I have one apple snail right now in with my guppies, but it's bigger than they are so they don't bother her. xD

Cici hadn't noticed any of the boys eating them and they are not huge, so I think they just ignore them. I never actually had a betta that was not compatible with any type of snails, to be honest.

Do you think five would be okay by themselves in a 10 gallon planted tank?
