I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I know its frustrating when you don't have something to test the water with or a way to post pictures. My first reaction would be to get the fish out of the tank the others died in and place him in a seperate area so he can be treated. Maybe something is still in the tank somehow. BUT.....Since I'm new to all this and don't want to give you the wrong advice, I sent a PM to blufish123 (who knows more people than me) to check out your thread here. Hopefully you'll get some help soon. Hang tight.....

Hello there,

Is he still "shaking?" or acting different from the video you posted?

Has he been using both of his pectoral fins? Or still just the one?

Has the red streak changed at all? In size, or color?

Your boy looks very much like my Apollo. You can't see it in the picture, but at the base of his tail is orange/red. It looks like there is dark orange stitching holding his tail to his body lol.Is what I described similar to what you are seeing on your guy?

Also, now that I've had him a couple of months his tail is starting to turn an orangey color, and his entire body is getting darker.

I don't see what you're talking about in the video. He is darting around, but he looks annoyed. Is that what you are calling shaking?

Is he rubbing on anything?

I don't see the colors you are describing in your post. I see what looks like a vein, but he's a light colored fish so that's not unusual. All my light fish you can see veins near their tail.

Also, your fake plants, do they have metal wire in them at all? If so, it needs to be removed.
